O2 Sim Only Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to Zinq’s O2 Sim Only mobile services, including promotional O2 Business Plus tariffs. All tariffs are subject to availability and may be available to new or re-signing customers only.
All standard O2 tariffs include unlimited UK minutes and unlimited UK SMS, subject to fair usage. Fair usage on unlimited tariffs is set at 3,000 UK minutes, 3,000 UK SMS, and 650GB of UK data per SIM per month. If usage exceeds these levels, additional charges may apply and services may be restricted or disconnected.
Contract Terms and Disconnection
Tariffs may be offered on either 30-day or 24-month minimum terms, with a 30-day notice period required for disconnection. The specific term will depend on the tariff selected at the point of order.
If a connection is disconnected within the minimum term:
- Early termination fees will apply
- A disconnection fee of £40 + VAT will apply where disconnection occurs within the initial 24-month period
Charges will apply up to the point of disconnection or port-out where applicable.
Fair Usage and Acceptable Use
SIM cards must be used for personal or legitimate business use only. You must not:
- Use SIM cards in gateways, SIM boxes, or automated systems
- Send large volumes of automated or unsolicited messages
- Generate artificially inflated traffic
- Use the service in a way that negatively impacts the network or other users
Zinq reserves the right to apply charges, restrict usage, or disconnect services where misuse is identified.
Roam Like at Home (EU Roaming)
Eligible tariffs include Roam Like at Home, allowing use of UK allowances within selected European destinations.
Fair usage limits apply:
- 25GB data allowance per month while roaming in EU/RLAH countries
- Usage must reflect periodic travel, not permanent roaming
If roaming use exceeds 50% of total usage in a rolling 4-month period, or is otherwise deemed excessive, charges or restrictions may apply.
World Traveller Service (International Roaming)
Customers can use their UK allowances in selected global destinations via the World Traveller Service (WTS).
Charges are applied per calendar day (midnight–midnight UK time):
- £5.50 per day (Tier 1 countries)
- £8.50 per day (Tier 2 countries)
This daily charge includes:
- Calls and SMS within country
- Calls and SMS back to the UK
- Incoming calls
- Data usage within allowance
Out-of-allowance usage or out-of-country calls are charged at standard roaming rates.
WTS Fair Usage
- 25GB monthly fair usage in Tier 1 countries
- 2GB monthly fair usage in Tier 2 countries
Excessive usage may result in additional charges or restricted service.
Data Usage, Top-Ups and Out-of-Bundle Charges
If allowances are exceeded:
- Usage will be charged at standard out-of-bundle rates
- Data top-ups may be available to extend allowances
Top-ups should be applied before exceeding limits where possible, as charges may already apply once limits are breached.
Annual Price Changes
O2 tariffs and bolt-ons are subject to annual price changes:
- Based on the RPI rate published in February each year
- Effective from 1 April annually
From 2027 onwards, O2 Business Plus tariffs will move to a fixed annual increase of £0.50 per month per tariff.
Service and Availability
Network coverage, speeds, roaming availability, and features may vary depending on location, device, and network conditions.
